4:1-15 = Harta rohani dalam bejana tanah
(1) Oleh kemurahan Allah kami telah menerima pelayanan ini. Karena itu kami tidak tawar hati.
(1) 이처럼 우리가 하나님의 자비로 이 사역을 감당하므로, 우리는 낙심하지 않습니다.
(1) {Paul's Apostolic Ministry}Therefore, since we have this ministry, just as we received mercy [from God, granting us salvation, opportunities, and blessings], we do not get discouraged nor lose our motivation.
(2) Tetapi kami menolak segala perbuatan tersembunyi yang memalukan; kami tidak berlaku licik dan tidak memalsukan firman Allah. Sebaliknya kami menyatakan kebenaran dan dengan demikian kami menyerahkan diri kami untuk dipertimbangkan oleh semua orang di hadapan Allah.
(2) 우리는 부끄러워 드러내지 못한 것들을 끊어 버리고, 속임수를 쓰지 않으며, 하나님의 말씀을 왜곡시키지 않았습니다. 우리는 진리를 밝히 드러냈으므로 하나님 앞에서 모든 사람들의 양심을 향해 우리 자신을 당당히 내세웁니다.
(2) But we have renounced the disgraceful things hidden because of shame; not walking in trickery or adulterating the word of God, but by stating the truth [openly and plainly], we commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God.
(3) Jika Injil yang kami beritakan masih tertutup juga, maka ia tertutup untuk mereka, yang akan binasa,
(3) 우리가 전하는 복음이 가리워졌다면 그것은 멸망하는 사람들에게 가리워진 것입니다.
(3) But even if our gospel is [in some sense] hidden [behind a veil], it is hidden [only] to those who are perishing;
(4) yaitu orang-orang yang tidak percaya, yang pikirannya telah dibutakan oleh ilah zaman ini, sehingga mereka tidak melihat cahaya Injil tentang kemuliaan Kristus, yang adalah gambaran Allah.
(4) 이 시대의 신이 믿지 아니하는 사람들의 마음을 어둡게 하여 하나님의 형상이신 그리스도의 영광을 드러내는 복음의 빛을 보지 못하게 하였습니다.
(4) among them the god of this world [Satan] has blinded the minds of the unbelieving to prevent them from seeing the illuminating light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
(5) Sebab bukan diri kami yang kami beritakan, tetapi Yesus Kristus sebagai Tuhan, dan diri kami sebagai hambamu karena kehendak Yesus.
(5) 우리는 우리 자신을 전파하지 않습니다. 우리는 예수 그리스도가 주님이시라는 사실과 우리가 예수님을 위해 일하는 여러분의 종이 되었다는 사실을 전파합니다.
(5) For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves [merely] as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake.
(6) Sebab Allah yang telah berfirman: "Dari dalam gelap akan terbit terang!", Ia juga yang membuat terang-Nya bercahaya di dalam hati kita, supaya kita beroleh terang dari pengetahuan tentang kemuliaan Allah yang nampak pada wajah Kristus.
(6) “어둠 속에 빛이 비쳐라”라고 말씀하신 하나님께서 우리 마음에 빛을 비추셔서 그리스도의 얼굴에 나타난 하나님의 영광을 깨닫게 해 주시기 위해 우리 마음에 빛을 비추셨습니다.
(6) For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give us the Light of the knowledge of the glory and majesty of God [clearly revealed] in the face of Christ.
(7) Tetapi harta ini kami punyai dalam bejana tanah liat, supaya nyata, bahwa kekuatan yang melimpah-limpah itu berasal dari Allah, bukan dari diri kami.
(7) 우리는 이 보화를 질그릇에 담고 있습니다. 이것은 그 풍성한 능력이 우리에게서 나오는 것이 아니라 하나님께로부터 나오는 것임을 보이시려는 것입니다.
(7) But we have this precious treasure [the good news about salvation] in [unworthy] earthen vessels [of human frailty], so that the grandeur and surpassing greatness of the power will be [shown to be] from God [His sufficiency] and not from ourselves.
(8) Dalam segala hal kami ditindas, namun tidak terjepit; kami habis akal, namun tidak putus asa;
(8) 우리는 사방에서 압박을 받아도 눌리지 않으며, 난처한 일에 빠져도 절망하지 않습니다.
(8) We are pressured in every way [hedged in], but not crushed; perplexed [unsure of finding a way out], but not driven to despair;
(9) kami dianiaya, namun tidak ditinggalkan sendirian, kami dihempaskan, namun tidak binasa.
(9) 핍박을 당해도 버림을 받지 아니하고, 매를 맞아 넘어져도 망하지 않습니다.
(9) hunted down and persecuted, but not deserted [to stand alone]; struck down, but never destroyed;
(10) Kami senantiasa membawa kematian Yesus di dalam tubuh kami, supaya kehidupan Yesus juga menjadi nyata di dalam tubuh kami.
(10) 우리는 예수님의 생명이 우리 몸에서 나타나도록 하기 위해 항상 예수님의 죽으심을 우리 몸에 짊어지고 다닙니다.
(10) always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown in our body.
(11) Sebab kami, yang masih hidup ini, terus-menerus diserahkan kepada maut karena Yesus, supaya juga hidup Yesus menjadi nyata di dalam tubuh kami yang fana ini.
(11) 예수님의 생명이 죽을 우리 몸에 나타나도록 하기 위해, 우리는 살아 있지만 예수님을 위해 항상 몸을 죽음에 내맡기고 있습니다.
(11) For we who live are constantly [experiencing the threat of] being handed over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be evidenced in our mortal body [which is subject to death].
(12) Maka demikianlah maut giat di dalam diri kami dan hidup giat di dalam kamu.
(12) 그러므로 우리 속에서는 죽음이 활동하지만, 여러분 속에서는 생명이 활동하게 되는 것입니다.
(12) So physical death is [actively] at work in us, but [spiritual] life [is actively at work] in you.
(13) Namun karena kami memiliki roh iman yang sama, seperti ada tertulis: "Aku percaya, sebab itu aku berkata-kata", maka kami juga percaya dan sebab itu kami juga berkata-kata.
(13) 성경에 “내가 믿었다. 그러므로 내가 말하였다”고 기록되어 있듯이, 우리도 동일한 믿음의 정신으로 믿고 말하는 것입니다.
(13) Yet we have the same spirit of faith as he had, who wrote in Scripture, "I believed, therefore I spoke." We also believe, therefore we also speak,
(14) Karena kami tahu, bahwa Ia, yang telah membangkitkan Tuhan Yesus, akan membangkitkan kami juga bersama-sama dengan Yesus. Dan Ia akan menghadapkan kami bersama-sama dengan kamu kepada diri-Nya.
(14) 우리가 이렇게 말할 수 있는 것은, 주 예수님을 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살리신 하나님께서 예수님과 함께 우리도 살리셔서 여러분과 함께 하나님 앞에 서게 하실 것을 알기 때문입니다.
(14) knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and will present us [along] with you in His presence.
(15) Sebab semuanya itu terjadi oleh karena kamu, supaya kasih karunia, yang semakin besar berhubung dengan semakin banyaknya orang yang menjadi percaya, menyebabkan semakin melimpahnya ucapan syukur bagi kemuliaan Allah.
(15) 이 모든 일은 다 여러분의 유익을 위한 것입니다. 그래서 하나님의 은혜가 점점 더 많은 사람들에게 이르러 감사가 넘치게 되고 그들은 하나님께 영광을 돌리게 될 것입니다.
(15) For all [these] things are for your sake, so that as [God's remarkable, undeserved] grace reaches to more and more people it may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of [our great] God.
4:16 - 5:10 = Jangan tawar hati, juga waktu menghadapi maut
(16) Sebab itu kami tidak tawar hati, tetapi meskipun manusia lahiriah kami semakin merosot, namun manusia batiniah kami dibaharui dari sehari ke sehari.
(16) 그러므로 우리는 낙심하지 않습니다. 우리의 겉사람은 점점 낡아지지만 우리의 속사람은 날마다 새로워지고 있습니다.
(16) Therefore we do not become discouraged [spiritless, disappointed, or afraid]. Though our outer self is [progressively] wasting away, yet our inner self is being [progressively] renewed day by day.
(17) Sebab penderitaan ringan yang sekarang ini, mengerjakan bagi kami kemuliaan kekal yang melebihi segala-galanya, jauh lebih besar dari pada penderitaan kami.
(17) 우리가 지금 겪고 있는 가벼운 환난은 장차 우리가 받게 될 영원하고 한량없이 큰 영광을 가져다 줍니다.
(17) For our momentary, light distress [this passing trouble] is producing for us an eternal weight of glory [a fullness] beyond all measure [surpassing all comparisons, a transcendent splendor and an endless blessedness]!
(18) Sebab kami tidak memperhatikan yang kelihatan, melainkan yang tak kelihatan, karena yang kelihatan adalah sementara, sedangkan yang tak kelihatan adalah kekal.
(18) 우리는 보이는 것들에 시선을 고정시키는 것이 아니라 보이지 않는 것들에 시선을 고정합니다. 이는 보이는 것은 한순간이지만 보이지 않는 것은 영원하기 때문입니다.
(18) So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.
