(1) Lalu Yusuf merebahkan dirinya mendekap muka ayahnya serta menangisi dan mencium dia.
(1) 야곱이 죽자, 요셉은 아버지를 껴안고 울며 입을 맞추었습니다.
(1) {Burial Preparations and Mourning for Jacob}Then Joseph fell upon his father's face, and wept over him and kissed him [tenderly].
(2) Dan Yusuf memerintahkan kepada tabib-tabib, yaitu hamba-hambanya, untuk merempah-rempahi mayat ayahnya; maka tabib-tabib itu merempah-rempahi mayat Israel.
(2) 요셉은 자기 의사들에게 명령하여 아버지를 장사지낼 준비를 하게 했습니다. 그러자 요셉의 의사들은 야곱의 시체를 묻을 준비를 했습니다.
(2) Then Joseph ordered his servants the physicians to embalm (mummify) his father. So the physicians embalmed Israel (Jacob).
(3) Hal itu memerlukan empat puluh hari lamanya, sebab demikianlah lamanya waktu yang diperlukan untuk merempah-rempahi, dan orang Mesir menangisi dia tujuh puluh hari lamanya.
(3) 의사들이 그 일을 준비하는 데에는 모두 사십 일이 걸렸습니다. 그 때는 시체를 묻을 준비를 하는 데 보통 그만큼 걸렸습니다. 이집트 사람들은 야곱을 위해 칠십 일 동안을 슬퍼했습니다.
(3) Now forty days were required for this, for that is the customary number of days [of preparation] required for embalming. And the Egyptians wept and grieved for him [in public mourning as they would for royalty] for seventy days.
(4) Setelah lewat hari-hari penangisan itu, berkatalah Yusuf kepada seisi istana Firaun: "Jika kiranya aku mendapat kasihmu, katakanlah kepada Firaun,
(4) 슬퍼하는 기간이 끝나자 요셉이 파라오의 신하들에게 말했습니다. “여러분, 괜찮으시다면 파라오에게 이 말씀을 드려 주십시오.
(4) When the days of weeping and public mourning for him were past, Joseph spoke to [the nobles of] the house of Pharaoh, saying, "If now I have found favor in your sight, please speak to Pharaoh, saying,
(5) bahwa ayahku telah menyuruh aku bersumpah, katanya: Tidak lama lagi aku akan mati; dalam kuburku yang telah kugali di tanah Kanaan, di situlah kaukuburkan aku. Oleh sebab itu, izinkanlah aku pergi ke sana, supaya aku menguburkan ayahku; kemudian aku akan kembali."
(5) 내 아버지가 돌아가실 무렵, 나는 아버지에게 한 가지 약속을 했습니다. 나는 아버지를 가나안 땅의 어느 동굴에 장사지내 드리기로 약속했습니다. 그 동굴은 아버지께서 스스로 준비해 두신 동굴입니다. 그러니 내가 가서 아버지를 장사지내고 올 수 있게 해 주십시오.”
(5) 'My father made me swear [an oath], saying, "Hear me, I am about to die; bury me in my tomb which I prepared for myself in the land of Canaan." So now let me go up [to Canaan], please, and bury my father; then I will return.'"
(6) Lalu berkatalah Firaun: "Pergilah ke sana dan kuburkanlah ayahmu itu, seperti yang telah disuruhnya engkau bersumpah."
(6) 파라오가 대답했습니다. “그대의 약속을 지키시오. 가서 아버지를 장사지내 드리시오.”
(6) And Pharaoh said, "Go up and bury your father, as he made you swear."
(7) Lalu berjalanlah Yusuf ke sana untuk menguburkan ayahnya, dan bersama-sama dengan dia berjalanlah semua pegawai Firaun, para tua-tua dari istananya, dan semua tua-tua dari tanah Mesir,
(7) 그리하여 요셉은 자기 아버지를 장사지내러 갔습니다. 파라오의 모든 신하들과 파라오 궁전의 장로들과 이집트 땅의 모든 지도자들이 요셉을 따라갔습니다.
(7) So Joseph went up [to Canaan] to bury his father, and with him went all the officials of Pharaoh, [the nobles of his court and] the elders of his household and all [the nobles and] the elders of the land of Egypt—
(8) serta seisi rumah Yusuf juga, saudara-saudaranya dan seisi rumah ayahnya; hanya anak-anaknya serta kambing domba dan lembu sapinya ditinggalkan mereka di tanah Gosyen.
(8) 요셉의 모든 집안 사람들과 그의 형제들과 요셉의 아버지께 속한 집안 사람들은 어린아이들과 양 떼와 소 떼를 고센 땅에 남겨 두고, 요셉과 함께 갔습니다.
(8) and all the household of Joseph and his brothers and his father's household. They left only their little ones and their flocks and herds in the land of Goshen.
(9) Baik kereta maupun orang-orang berkuda turut pergi ke sana bersama-sama dengan dia, sehingga iring-iringan itu sangat besar.
(9) 병거와 말을 탄 군인들도 요셉과 함께 갔습니다. 매우 엄청난 행렬이었습니다.
(9) Both chariots and horsemen also went up [to Canaan] with Joseph; and it was a very great company.
(10) Setelah mereka sampai ke Goren-Haatad, yang di seberang sungai Yordan, maka mereka mengadakan di situ ratapan yang sangat sedih dan riuh; dan Yusuf mengadakan perkabungan tujuh hari lamanya karena ayahnya itu.
(10) 그들은 요단 강 동쪽 아닷의 타작 마당에 이르렀습니다. 그 곳에서 그들은 이스라엘이라고도 부르는 야곱을 위해 큰 소리로 슬프게 울었습니다. 요셉은 아버지를 위해 칠 일 동안을 슬피 울었습니다.
(10) When they came to the threshing floor of Atad, which is beyond the Jordan, they mourned there with a great lamentation (expressions of mourning for the deceased) and [extreme demonstrations of] sorrow [according to Egyptian custom]; and Joseph observed a seven-day mourning for his father.
(11) Ketika penduduk negeri itu, orang-orang Kanaan, melihat perkabungan di Goren-Haatad itu, berkatalah mereka: "Inilah perkabungan orang Mesir yang amat riuh." Itulah sebabnya tempat itu dinamai Abel-Mizraim, yang letaknya di seberang Yordan.
(11) 가나안에 살던 백성들이 아닷의 타작 마당에서 사람들이 슬퍼하는 모습을 보고 “저 이집트 사람들이 크게 슬퍼하고 있구나” 하고 말하면서 그 곳의 이름을 아벨미스라임이라고 불렀습니다.
(11) When the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning at the threshing floor of Atad, they said, "This is a grievous mourning for the Egyptians." Therefore the place was named Abel-mizraim (mourning of Egypt); it is west of the Jordan.
(12) Anak-anak Yakub melakukan kepadanya, seperti yang dipesankannya kepada mereka.
(12) 이처럼 야곱의 아들들은 자기 아버지가 당부한 말씀대로 행했습니다.
(12) {Burial at Machpelah}So Jacob's sons did for him as he had commanded them;
(13) Anak-anaknya mengangkut dia ke tanah Kanaan, dan mereka menguburkan dia dalam gua di ladang Makhpela yang telah dibeli Abraham dari Efron, orang Het itu, untuk menjadi kuburan milik, yaitu ladang yang di sebelah timur Mamre.
(13) 그들은 아버지의 시체를 가나안 땅으로 모시고 가서, 마므레 근처의 막벨라 밭에 있는 동굴에 장사지냈습니다. 그 동굴과 밭은 아브라함이 헷 사람 에브론에게서 산 것입니다. 아브라함은 무덤으로 쓰기 위해 그 동굴을 샀습니다.
(13) for his sons carried him to the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave of the field of Machpelah, east of Mamre, which Abraham bought along with the field as a burial site from Ephron the Hittite.
(14) Setelah ayahnya dikuburkan, pulanglah Yusuf ke Mesir, dia dan saudara-saudaranya dan semua orang yang turut pergi ke sana bersama-sama dengan dia untuk menguburkan ayahnya itu.
(14) 요셉은 아버지를 장사지내고 나서 이집트로 돌아갔습니다. 요셉과 함께 갔던 요셉의 형제들과 다른 모든 사람들도 이집트로 돌아갔습니다.
(14) After he had buried his father, Joseph returned to Egypt, he and his brothers, and all who had gone up with him.
50:15-21 = Yusuf menghiburkan hati saudara-saudaranya
(15) Ketika saudara-saudara Yusuf melihat, bahwa ayah mereka telah mati, berkatalah mereka: "Boleh jadi Yusuf akan mendendam kita dan membalaskan sepenuhnya kepada kita segala kejahatan yang telah kita lakukan kepadanya."
(15) 야곱이 죽은 후에 요셉의 형들이 말했습니다. “만약 요셉이 아직도 우리를 미워하면 어떻게 하지? 우리는 요셉에게 나쁜 짓을 많이 했어. 만약 요셉이 우리에게 복수를 하려 하면 어떻게 하지?”
(15) When Joseph's brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, "What if Joseph carries a grudge against us and pays us back in full for all the wrong which we did to him?"
(16) Sebab itu mereka menyuruh menyampaikan pesan ini kepada Yusuf: "Sebelum ayahmu mati, ia telah berpesan:
(16) 그래서 그들은 요셉에게 사람을 보내어 이렇게 전하게 했습니다. “아우님의 아버지는 돌아가시기 전에 이렇게 당부하셨습니다.
(16) So they sent word to Joseph, saying, "Your father commanded us before he died, saying,
(17) Beginilah harus kamu katakan kepada Yusuf: Ampunilah kiranya kesalahan saudara-saudaramu dan dosa mereka, sebab mereka telah berbuat jahat kepadamu. Maka sekarang, ampunilah kiranya kesalahan yang dibuat hamba-hamba Allah ayahmu." Lalu menangislah Yusuf, ketika orang berkata demikian kepadanya.
(17) ‘너희는 몹쓸 짓을 했다. 너희는 요셉에게 죄를 지었다. 요셉에게 말해서 형들을 용서해 달라고 말하여라.’ 그러니 요셉이여, 제발 우리의 잘못을 용서해 주십시오. 우리는 아우님 아버지의 하나님의 종입니다.” 요셉은 이 말을 전해 듣고 울었습니다.
(17) 'You are to say to Joseph, "I beg you, please forgive the transgression of your brothers and their sin, for they did you wrong."' Now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father." And Joseph wept when they spoke to him.
(18) Juga saudara-saudaranya datang sendiri dan sujud di depannya serta berkata: "Kami datang untuk menjadi budakmu."
(18) 요셉의 형들이 요셉을 찾아가서 요셉에게 절을 하며 말했습니다. “우리는 아우님의 종입니다.”
(18) Then his brothers went and fell down before him [in confession]; then they said, "Behold, we are your servants (slaves)."
(19) Tetapi Yusuf berkata kepada mereka: "Janganlah takut, sebab aku inikah pengganti Allah?
(19) 그 말을 듣고 요셉이 형들에게 말했습니다. “두려워하지 마십시오. 하나님만이 하실 수 있는 일을 내가 어떻게 하겠습니까?
(19) But Joseph said to them, "Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? [Vengeance is His, not mine.]
(20) Memang kamu telah mereka-rekakan yang jahat terhadap aku, tetapi Allah telah mereka-rekakannya untuk kebaikan, dengan maksud melakukan seperti yang terjadi sekarang ini, yakni memelihara hidup suatu bangsa yang besar.
(20) 형님들은 나를 해치려 했지만, 하나님께서는 형님들의 악을 선으로 바꾸셨습니다. 그래서 오히려 많은 사람들의 생명을 구할 수 있었습니다.
(20) As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present outcome, that many people would be kept alive [as they are this day].
(21) Jadi janganlah takut, aku akan menanggung makanmu dan makan anak-anakmu juga." Demikianlah ia menghiburkan mereka dan menenangkan hati mereka dengan perkataannya.
(21) 그러니 두려워하지 마십시오. 내가 형님들과 형님들의 아이들을 돌봐 드리겠습니다.” 이처럼 요셉은 형들을 안심시키고 형들에게 따뜻한 말을 해 주었습니다.
(21) So now, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and support you and your little ones." So he comforted them [giving them encouragement and hope] and spoke [with kindness] to their hearts.
50:22-26 = Yusuf meninggal
(22) Adapun Yusuf, ia tetap tinggal di Mesir beserta kaum keluarganya; dan Yusuf hidup seratus sepuluh tahun.
(22) 요셉은 자기 아버지의 모든 가족들과 함께 계속 이집트에서 살다가 백열 살에 죽었습니다.
(22) {Death of Joseph}Now Joseph lived in Egypt, he and his father's household, and Joseph lived a hundred and ten years.
(23) Jadi Yusuf sempat melihat anak cucu Efraim sampai keturunan yang ketiga; juga anak-anak Makhir, anak Manasye, lahir di pangkuan Yusuf.
(23) 요셉이 아직 살아 있을 때, 에브라임은 자녀를 낳았고, 손자 손녀들도 보았습니다. 요셉의 아들 므낫세에게는 마길이라는 아들이 있었습니다. 요셉은 마길의 자녀들을 자기 자녀로 삼았습니다.
(23) Joseph saw the third generation of Ephraim's children; also the children of Machir, the son of Manasseh, were born and raised on Joseph's knees.
(24) Berkatalah Yusuf kepada saudara-saudaranya: "Tidak lama lagi aku akan mati; tentu Allah akan memperhatikan kamu dan membawa kamu keluar dari negeri ini, ke negeri yang telah dijanjikan-Nya dengan sumpah kepada Abraham, Ishak dan Yakub."
(24) 요셉이 형들에게 말했습니다. “나는 이제 죽습니다. 하지만 하나님께서는 여러분을 돌봐 주실 것입니다. 하나님께서는 여러분을 이 땅에서 인도해 내실 것입니다. 하나님께서는 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 약속하셨던 땅으로 여러분을 인도하실 것입니다.”
(24) Joseph said to his brothers, "I am about to die, but God will surely take care of you and bring you up out of this land to the land which He promised to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob [to give you]."
(25) Lalu Yusuf menyuruh anak-anak Israel bersumpah, katanya: "Tentu Allah akan memperhatikan kamu; pada waktu itu kamu harus membawa tulang-tulangku dari sini."
(25) 그리고 나서 요셉은 이스라엘의 아들들에게 약속을 하게 했습니다. “형님들이 이집트에서 나가실 때, 내 뼈도 옮겨 가겠다고 약속해 주십시오.”
(25) Then Joseph made the sons of Israel (Jacob) swear [an oath], saying, "God will surely visit you and take care of you [returning you to Canaan], and [when that happens] you shall carry my bones up from here."
(26) Kemudian matilah Yusuf, berumur seratus sepuluh tahun. Mayatnya dirempah-rempahi, dan ditaruh dalam peti mati di Mesir.
(26) 요셉은 백열 살에 죽었습니다. 의사들이 요셉을 장사지낼 준비를 한 뒤에 이집트에서 요셉의 시체를 관에 넣었습니다.
(26) So Joseph died, being a hundred and ten years old; and they embalmed him and he was put in a coffin in Egypt.
