9:1-19 = Tindakan orang Yahudi terhadap musuhnya
(1) Dalam bulan yang kedua belas--yakni bulan Adar--,pada hari yang ketiga belas, ketika titah serta undang-undang raja akan dilaksanakan, pada hari musuh-musuh orang Yahudi berharap mengalahkan orang Yahudi, terjadilah yang sebaliknya: orang Yahudi mengalahkan pembenci-pembenci mereka.
(1) 드디어 열두째 달인 아달 월 십삼 일이 되어, 왕이 내린 명령을 지켜야 하는 날이 되었습니다. 그 날은 유다인의 원수들이 유다인을 없애려고 한 날이었으나, 이제는 유다인이 그 원수들을 물리칠 수 있는 날로 바뀌었습니다.
(1) {The Jews Destroy Their Enemies}Now in the twelfth month (that is, the month of Adar) on the thirteenth day when the king's command and edict were about to be executed, on the [very] day when the enemies of the Jews had hoped to gain power over them [and slaughter them], it happened the other way around so that the Jews themselves gained power over those who hated them.
(2) Maka berkumpullah orang Yahudi di dalam kota-kotanya di seluruh daerah raja Ahasyweros, untuk membunuh orang-orang yang berikhtiar mencelakakan mereka, dan tiada seorangpun tahan menghadapi mereka, karena ketakutan kepada orang Yahudi telah menimpa segala bangsa itu.
(2) 유다인들은 아하수에로 왕이 다스리는 모든 지방의 각 성에 모여, 자기들을 해치려 하던 사람들을 공격했습니다. 나라 안의 모든 사람이 유다인을 두려워했으므로 아무도 그들을 막지 못했습니다.
(2) The Jews assembled in their cities throughout the provinces of King Ahasuerus (Xerxes) to apprehend those who wanted to do them harm; and no one could stand before them, for the fear of them [and their God] had fallen on all the peoples.
(3) Dan semua pembesar daerah dan wakil pemerintahan dan bupati serta pejabat kerajaan menyokong orang Yahudi, karena ketakutan kepada Mordekhai telah menimpa mereka.
(3) 게다가 각 지방의 귀족들과 총독들과 군대 지휘관들과 왕의 신하들도 모르드개를 두려워했기 때문에 유다인을 도왔습니다.
(3) Even all the officials of the provinces and the chief rulers (satraps) and the governors and those who attended to the king's business supported the Jews [in defeating their enemies], because the fear of Mordecai [and his God's power] had fallen on them.
(4) Sebab Mordekhai besar kekuasaannya di dalam istana raja dan tersiarlah berita tentang dia ke segenap daerah, karena Mordekhai itu bertambah-tambah besar kekuasaannya.
(4) 모르드개는 왕궁에서 높은 자리를 차지하고 있었으며, 그의 세력 또한 점점 커져서 나라 전체에 그의 이름을 모르는 사람이 없게 되었습니다.
(4) For Mordecai was great and respected in the king's palace, and his fame spread throughout all the provinces; for the man Mordecai became greater and greater.
(5) Maka orang Yahudi mengalahkan semua musuhnya: mereka memukulnya dengan pedang, membunuh dan membinasakannya; mereka berbuat sekehendak hatinya terhadap pembenci-pembenci mereka.
(5) 유다인들은 모든 원수를 칼로 쳐죽여 없앴습니다. 그리고 그들을 미워하던 민족에게 하고 싶은 대로 다 했습니다.
(5) So the Jews struck all their enemies with the sword, killing and destroying them; and they did what they pleased to those who hated them.
(6) Di dalam benteng Susan saja orang Yahudi membunuh dan membinasakan lima ratus orang.
(6) 유다인들은 수산 성에서만 오백 명을 죽여 없앴습니다.
(6) At the citadel in Susa the Jews killed and destroyed five hundred men,
(7) Juga Parsandata, Dalfon, Aspata,
(7) 그들은 또한 함므다다의 아들이자 유다인의 원수인 하만의 열 아들, 곧 바산다다와 달본과 아스바다와
(7) and [they killed] Parshandatha, Dalphon, Aspatha,
(8) Porata, Adalya, Aridata,
(8) 보라다와 아달리야와 아리다다와
(8) Poratha, Adalia, Aridatha,
(9) Parmasta, Arisai, Aridai dan Waizata,
(9) 바마스다와 아리새와 아리대와 왜사다를 죽였습니다.
(9) Parmashta, Arisai, Aridai, and Vaizatha,
(10) kesepuluh anak laki-laki Haman bin Hamedata, seteru orang Yahudi, dibunuh oleh mereka, tetapi kepada barang rampasan tidaklah mereka mengulurkan tangan.
(10) 그러나 유다인은 그들의 재산에는 손을 대지 않았습니다.
(10) the ten sons of Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Jews' enemy; but they did not lay their hands on the plunder.
(11) Pada hari itu juga jumlah orang-orang yang terbunuh di dalam benteng Susan disampaikan ke hadapan raja.
(11) 그 날, 수산 성에서 죽은 사람의 수가 왕에게 보고되었습니다.
(11) On that day the number of those who were killed at the citadel in Susa was reported to the king.
(12) Lalu titah raja kepada Ester, sang ratu: "Di dalam benteng Susan saja orang Yahudi telah membunuh dan membinasakan lima ratus orang beserta kesepuluh anak Haman. Di daerah-daerah kerajaan yang lain, entahlah apa yang diperbuat mereka. Dan apakah permintaanmu sekarang? Niscaya akan dikabulkan. Dan apakah keinginanmu lagi? Niscaya dipenuhi."
(12) 왕이 에스더 왕후에게 말했습니다. “유다인들이 수산 성에서만 오백 명을 죽여 없앴고, 하만의 열 아들도 죽였소. 그러니 다른 지방에서는 어떠했을지 더 말할 나위도 없소. 이제 당신의 남은 소원을 말해 보시오. 내가 들어 주겠소. 무엇을 더 바라시오? 당신이 바라는 대로 해 주겠소.”
(12) The king said to Queen Esther, "The Jews have killed and destroyed five hundred men and the ten sons of Haman at the citadel in Susa. What then have they done in the rest of the king's provinces! Now what is your petition? It shall be granted to you. What is your further request? It shall also be done."
(13) Lalu jawab Ester: "Jikalau baik pada pemandangan raja, diizinkanlah kiranya kepada orang Yahudi yang di Susan untuk berbuat besokpun sesuai dengan undang-undang untuk hari ini, dan kesepuluh anak Haman itu hendaklah disulakan pada tiang."
(13) 에스더가 대답했습니다. “왕만 좋으시다면, 수산 성에 있는 유다인들이 내일도 오늘처럼 할 수 있게 해 주십시오. 그리고 하만의 열 아들의 주검을 장대에 매달아 주십시오.”
(13) Esther replied, "If it pleases the king, let it be granted to the Jews who are in Susa to act tomorrow also in accordance with the decree of today; and let [the dead bodies of] Haman's ten sons be hanged on the gallows."
(14) Rajapun menitahkan berbuat demikian; maka undang-undang itu dikeluarkan di Susan dan kesepuluh anak Haman disulakan orang.
(14) 왕이 에스더의 청을 허락하고, 명령을 내렸습니다. 수산 성에 조서가 내려졌고, 하만의 열 아들의 주검이 장대에 매달렸습니다.
(14) So the king commanded it to be done; the decree was given in Susa, and they hanged [the bodies of] Haman's ten sons.
(15) Jadi berkumpullah orang Yahudi yang di Susan pada hari yang keempat belas bulan Adar juga dan dibunuhnyalah di Susan tiga ratus orang, tetapi kepada barang rampasan tidaklah mereka mengulurkan tangan.
(15) 수산 성의 유다인들은 아달 월 십사 일에 모여서, 수산 성에서 삼백 명을 죽였습니다. 그러나 그 재산에는 손을 대지 않았습니다.
(15) The Jews who were in Susa also gathered together on the fourteenth day of the month of Adar and killed three hundred men in Susa, but they did not lay their hands on the plunder.
(16) Orang Yahudi yang lain, yang ada di dalam daerah kerajaan, berkumpul dan mempertahankan nyawanya serta mendapat keamanan terhadap musuhnya; mereka membunuh tujuh puluh lima ribu orang di antara pembenci-pembenci mereka, tetapi kepada barang rampasan tidaklah mereka mengulurkan tangan.
(16) 다른 지방의 유다인들도 모여서 자기 생명을 지키고, 원수들을 물리쳤습니다. 그들은 자기들을 미워하던 사람 칠만 오천 명을 죽였습니다. 그러나 재산에는 손을 대지 않았습니다.
(16) Now the rest of the Jews who were in the king's provinces assembled, to defend their lives and rid themselves of their enemies, and kill 75,000 of those who hated them; but they did not lay their hands on the plunder.
(17) Hal itu terjadi pada hari yang ketiga belas dalam bulan Adar. Pada hari yang keempat belas berhentilah mereka dan hari itu dijadikan mereka hari perjamuan dan sukacita.
(17) 이 일이 일어난 날은 아달 월 십삼 일이었습니다. 십사 일에는 쉬면서 즐거운 잔치를 열었습니다.
(17) This was done on the thirteenth day of the month of Adar, and on the fourteenth day they rested and made it a day of feasting and rejoicing.
(18) Akan tetapi orang Yahudi yang di Susan berkumpul, baik pada hari yang ketiga belas, baik pada hari yang keempat belas dalam bulan itu. Lalu berhentilah mereka pada hari yang kelima belas dan hari itu dijadikan mereka hari perjamuan dan sukacita.
(18) 그러나 수산 성의 유다인들은 아달 월 십삼 일과 십사 일에 모였으므로, 십오 일에 쉬면서 그 날을 즐거운 잔칫날로 삼았습니다.
(18) But the Jews who were in Susa assembled on the thirteenth and on the fourteenth of the same month, and on the fifteenth day they rested and made it a day of feasting and rejoicing.
(19) Oleh sebab itu orang Yahudi yang di pedusunan, yakni yang diam di perkampungan merayakan hari yang keempat belas bulan Adar itu sebagai hari sukacita dan hari perjamuan, dan sebagai hari gembira untuk antar-mengantar makanan.
(19) 시골과 작은 마을에 사는 유다인들이 아달 월 십사 일에 잔치를 베풀면서 서로 선물을 나누는 것은 바로 이러한 이유 때문입니다.
(19) Therefore the Jews of the villages, who live in the rural [unwalled] towns, make the fourteenth day of the month of Adar a holiday for rejoicing and feasting and sending choice portions of food to one another.
9:20-32 = Penetapan hari raya Purim
(20) Maka Mordekhai menuliskan peristiwa itu, lalu mengirimkan surat-surat kepada semua orang Yahudi di seluruh daerah raja Ahasyweros, baik yang dekat baik yang jauh,
(20) 모르드개는 이 모든 일을 다 적어 두었습니다. 그리고 먼 곳이든지 가까운 곳이든지, 아하수에로 왕이 다스리는 나라의 모든 유다인에게 편지를 보내어
(20) {The Feast of Purim Instituted}Now Mordecai recorded these events, and he sent letters to all the Jews who lived in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus, both near and far,
(21) untuk mewajibkan mereka, supaya tiap-tiap tahun merayakan hari yang keempat belas dan yang kelima belas bulan Adar,
(21) 해마다 아달 월 십사 일과 십오 일을 명절로 지키게 했습니다.
(21) obliging them to celebrate the fourteenth day of the month of Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same month, annually,
(22) karena pada hari-hari itulah orang Yahudi mendapat keamanan terhadap musuhnya dan dalam bulan itulah dukacita mereka berubah menjadi sukacita dan hari perkabungan menjadi hari gembira, dan supaya menjadikan hari-hari itu hari perjamuan dan sukacita dan hari untuk antar-mengantar makanan dan untuk bersedekah kepada orang-orang miskin.
(22) 그 날은 유다인이 원수들을 물리친 날이고, 슬픔이 기쁨으로 바뀐 날이며, 통곡할 날이 즐거운 날로 바뀐 날입니다. 따라서 모르드개는 그 날을 즐거운 명절로 정하고 서로 음식을 나누며, 가난한 사람들에게 선물을 주는 날로 정하게 하였습니다.
(22) because on those days the Jews rid themselves of their enemies, and as the month which was turned for them from grief to joy and from mourning into a holiday; that they should make them days of feasting and rejoicing and sending choice portions of food to one another and gifts to the poor.
(23) Maka orang Yahudi menerima sebagai ketetapan apa yang sudah dimulai mereka melakukannya dan apa yang ditulis Mordekhai kepada mereka.
(23) 유다인들은 모르드개의 말에 따라, 해마다 그 날을 명절로 지켰습니다.
(23) So the Jews undertook what they had started to do, and what Mordecai had written to them.
(24) Sesungguhnya Haman bin Hamedata, orang Agag, seteru semua orang Yahudi itu, telah merancangkan hendak membinasakan orang Yahudi dan diapun telah membuang pur--yakni undi--untuk menghancurkan dan membinasakan mereka,
(24) 모든 유다인의 원수였던 함므다다의 아들 아각 사람 하만은 유다인들을 없앨 음모를 꾸미고 부르, 곧 제비를 던져 유다인을 멸망시킬 날을 정했으나
(24) For Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, had plotted against the Jews to destroy them and had cast Pur, that is, the lot, [to find the right time] to disturb and destroy them.
(25) akan tetapi ketika hal itu disampaikan ke hadapan raja, maka dititahkannyalah dengan surat, supaya rancangan jahat yang dibuat Haman terhadap orang Yahudi itu dibalikkan ke atas kepalanya. Maka Haman beserta anak-anaknya disulakan pada tiang.
(25) 왕이 그 음모를 알고 조서를 내려, 유다인을 해치려고 꾸민 음모가 오히려 그에게 돌아가게 하였고, 하만뿐만 아니라 그의 열 아들까지도 장대에 매달게 했습니다.
(25) But when it came before the king, he commanded in writing that Haman's wicked scheme which he had devised against the Jews was to return on his own head, and that he and his sons should [endure what he planned for the Jews and] be hanged on the gallows.
(26) Oleh sebab itulah hari-hari itu disebut Purim, menurut kata pur. Oleh sebab itu jugalah, yakni karena seluruh isi surat itu dan karena apa yang dilihat mereka mengenai hal itu dan apa yang dialami mereka,
(26) 그래서 제비를 뜻하는 부르라는 말을 따라, 이 두 날을 부림이라 부르게 된 것입니다.
(26) Therefore they called these days Purim after the name Pur (lot). And because of all the instructions in this letter, and what they had faced in this regard and what had happened to them,
(27) orang Yahudi menerima sebagai kewajiban dan sebagai ketetapan bagi dirinya sendiri dan keturunannya dan bagi sekalian orang yang akan bergabung dengan mereka, bahwa mereka tidak akan melampaui merayakan kedua hari itu tiap-tiap tahun, menurut yang dituliskan tentang itu dan pada waktu yang ditentukan,
(27) 유다인들은 이 일을 관습으로 삼아, 다른 민족에서 유다인이 된 사람들에 이르기까지 자손 대대로 이 두 날을 지키게 했으며, 모르드개가 편지에 명령한 대로, 해마다 거르는 일이 없이 그 두 날을 지키게 했습니다.
(27) the Jews established and made it a custom for themselves and for their descendants and for all who joined them, so that they would not fail to celebrate these two days as it was written and at the appointed time annually.
(28) dan bahwa hari-hari itu akan diperingati dan dirayakan di dalam tiap-tiap angkatan, di dalam tiap-tiap kaum, di tiap-tiap daerah, di tiap-tiap kota, sehingga hari-hari Purim itu tidak akan lenyap dari tengah-tengah orang Yahudi dan peringatannya tidak akan berakhir dari antara keturunan mereka.
(28) 어느 지방, 어느 성에 살든지 유다인이라면 누구나 이 두 날을 기억하고 지켜야 했습니다. 부림절은 유다인들에게는 거를 수 없는 명절이 되었고, 자손들에게도 잊어서는 안 되는 날이 되었습니다.
(28) So these days were to be remembered and celebrated throughout every generation, every family, every province and every city; and these days of Purim were not to cease from among the Jews, nor their memory fade from their descendants.
(29) Lalu Ester, sang ratu, anak Abihail, menulis surat, bersama-sama dengan Mordekhai, orang Yahudi itu; surat yang kedua tentang hari raya Purim ini dituliskannya dengan segala ketegasan untuk menguatkannya.
(29) 아비하일의 딸 에스더 왕후는 유다인 모르드개와 함께 부림절에 관한 두 번째 편지를 써서, 자기들의 권력으로 부림절을 확정했습니다.
(29) Then Queen Esther, the daughter of Abihail, with Mordecai the Jew, wrote with full power and authority to confirm this second letter about Purim.
(30) Lalu dikirimkanlah surat-surat kepada semua orang Yahudi di dalam keseratus dua puluh tujuh daerah kerajaan Ahasyweros, dengan kata-kata salam dan setia,
(30) 모르드개는 아하수에로 왕이 다스리는 나라의 백이십칠 지역에 사는 모든 유다인에게 평화와 안녕을 비는 편지를 보냈습니다.
(30) He sent letters to all the Jews, to the 127 provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, in words of peace and truth,
(31) supaya hari-hari Purim itu dirayakan pada waktu yang ditentukan, seperti yang diwajibkan kepada mereka oleh Mordekhai, orang Yahudi itu, dan oleh Ester, sang ratu, dan seperti yang diwajibkan mereka kepada dirinya sendiri serta keturunan mereka, mengenai hal berpuasa dan meratap-ratap.
(31) 그는 그 편지에서 정한 날에 부림절을 지킬 것을 명령하고, 자신과 에스더 왕후를 비롯한 모든 유다인이 이 두 날에 금식을 하고 슬피 울며 지킬 것을 말하였습니다.
(31) to establish these days of Purim [to be observed] at their appointed times, just as Mordecai the Jew and Queen Esther had established for them, and as they had established for themselves and for their descendants with instructions regarding their times of fasting and their lamentations (expressions of needing help).
(32) Demikianlah perintah Ester menetapkan perihal Purim itu, kemudian dituliskan di dalam kitab.
(32) 부림절 관습은 에스더의 편지로 확실히 정해졌고, 이 모든 일이 글로 적혔습니다.
(32) The command of Esther established these customs for Purim, and it was written in the book [of the royal archives].
