(1) Mereka mengirim anak domba kepada pemerintah negeri, dari Sela melalui padang gurun ke gunung puteri Sion.
(1) “모압 백성아, 예루살렘 왕에게 조공을 보내라. 셀라에서 광야를 지나 시온 산으로 조공을 보내라.
(1) {Prophecy of Moab's Devastation}Send lambs to the ruler of the land [you Moabites], From Sela [that is, Petra in Edom] through the wilderness to the mountain of the Daughter of Zion (Jerusalem).
(2) Seperti burung yang lari terbang, dan isi sarang yang diusir, demikianlah anak-anak perempuan Moab di tempat-tempat penyeberangan sungai Arnon.
(2) 모압 여자들이 둥지에서 떨어진 작은 새들처럼 아르논 강을 건너려 한다.
(2) For like wandering birds or scattered nestlings, The daughters of Moab will be at the fords of the [river] Arnon.
(3) Berilah nasihat, pertahankanlah hak, jadilah naungan yang teduh di waktu rembang tengah hari; sembunyikanlah orang-orang yang terbuang, janganlah khianati orang-orang pelarian!
(3) 그들이 말한다. ‘우리가 어찌하면 좋습니까? 무슨 일을 해야 할지 말해 주십시오. 뜨거운 한낮에도 밤처럼 그늘을 드리워 주십시오. 우리가 피할 테니 숨겨 주십시오. 우리를 적군 손에 넘기지 마십시오.
(3) [Say to the ruler] "Give us advice, make a decision [for Moab, king of Judah]; Cast your shadow [over us] like night in the midst of noon; Hide the outcasts, do not betray the fugitive [to his pursuer].
(4) Biarkanlah orang-orang yang terbuang dari Moab menumpang padamu, jadilah tempat persembunyian baginya terhadap si pembinasa! Apabila penggagahan sudah berakhir, pembinasaan sudah lewat dan orang lalim sudah habis lenyap dari negeri,
(4) 모압에서 쫓겨난 우리를 당신들 땅에서 살게 해 주십시오. 우리를 해치려고 하는 사람들로부터 우리를 보호해 주십시오.’ 폭력이 사라질 것이며, 약탈이 그칠 것이고, 남을 짓밟던 사람들이 땅에서 사라질 것이다.
(4) "Let our outcasts of Moab live among you; Be a [sheltered] hiding place to them from the destroyer." For the extortioner has come to an end, destruction has ceased, Oppressors [who trample men] have completely disappeared from the land,
(5) maka suatu takhta akan ditegakkan dalam kasih setia dan di atasnya, dalam kemah Daud, akan duduk senantiasa seorang hakim yang menegakkan keadilan, dan yang segera melakukan kebenaran."
(5) 그 때에 자비로운 왕좌가 세워질 것이다. 다윗 집안에서 진실한 왕이 나와 그 위에 앉을 것이다. 그는 공평하게 재판하며 정의로운 일만 할 것이다.
(5) A throne will be established in lovingkindness, And One will sit on it in faithfulness in the tent (dynasty, family) of David; Judging and seeking justice And being prompt to do righteousness.
(6) Kami telah mendengar tentang keangkuhan Moab, alangkah angkuhnya dia, tentang kecongkakannya, keangkuhannya dan kegemasannya, dan tentang cakap anginnya yang tidak benar.
(6) 모압 백성이 교만하고 매우 거만하다는 말을 들었다. 그들은 교만할 뿐 아니라 화를 잘 낸다. 그러나 그들은 허풍만 칠 뿐이다.
(6) We have heard of the pride of Moab, an excessive pride— Even of his arrogance, his conceit, his rage, His untruthful boasting.
(7) Sebab itu biarlah orang Moab meratap, seorang karena yang lain, biarlah sekaliannya meratap. Mengingat kue kismis Kir-Hareset biarlah mereka mengaduh dan hancur luluh sama sekali!
(7) 그러므로 모압이 통곡할 것이다. 모압에 있는 모든 사람들이 통곡할 것이다. 길하레셋에서 먹던 건포도 떡을 생각하며, 몹시 슬퍼하고 괴로워할 것이다.
(7) Therefore Moab will wail for Moab; everyone will wail. You will mourn for the raisin cakes of Kir-hareseth, As those who are utterly stricken and discouraged.
(8) Sebab kebun-kebun Hesybon dan pohon anggur Sibma telah merana; para penguasa bangsa-bangsa telah memotong pohon-pohon anggurnya yang terbaik, yang dahulu meluas sampai ke Yaezer dan merambat ke padang gurun; ranting-rantingnya berserak sampai ke seberang laut.
(8) 이제는 헤스본의 과수원들과 십마의 포도나무가 말라 비틀어졌다. 전에는 그 포도나무 가지들이 야셀까지 닿고 광야까지 이르렀으며, 그 싹이 자라나 바다까지 뻗쳤다.
(8) For the fields of Heshbon have languished and withered, and the vines of Sibmah as well; The lords of the nations have trampled down [Moab's] choice vine branches, Which reached as far as Jazer and wandered into the wilderness; Its tendrils stretched out, they passed over [the shores of] the [Dead] Sea.
(9) Sebab itu aku turut menangis dengan Yaezer karena pohon anggur Sibma; aku mau membasahi engkau dengan air mataku, hai Hesybon dan Eleale, sebab pada musim kemarau tepat waktu panen musuhmu menyerbu dengan pekik pertempuran.
(9) 그러므로 내가 야셀을 위하여 애통하며, 십마의 포도나무를 위하여 운다. 헤스본아, 엘르알레야, 너희를 위한 내 눈물이 멈추지 않는다. 익은 과일을 따거나 곡식을 거둬들이는 일이 없으므로, 다시는 즐거움으로 외치는 소리도 없을 것이다.
(9) Therefore I (Isaiah) will weep bitterly for Jazer, for the vines of Sibmah. I will drench you with my tears, O Heshbon and Elealeh; For the war-cry [of the enemy] has fallen on your summer fruits and your harvest.
(10) Telah lenyap sukaria dan sorak-sorak dari kebun buah-buahan; telah menghilang dari kebun-kebun anggur tempik sorak dan sorak-sorai; tiada pengirik anggur di tempat pemerasan, pekik mereka sudah berhenti.
(10) 비옥한 땅에서도 기뻐하는 소리와 즐거워하는 소리가 사라질 것이고, 포도밭에서도 다시는 노랫소리와 기뻐 떠드는 소리가 들리지 않을 것이며, 포도주틀에서 포도를 밟아 즙을 내는 일도 없을 것이다. 내가 그들에게서 추수의 기쁨을 빼앗아 갈 것이다.
(10) Gladness and joy are taken away from the fruitful field; In the vineyards there will be no singing or joyful sound; No treader treads out wine in the presses, For I (God) put an end to the joyful shouting.
(11) Oleh karena itu, seperti kecapi mendengking, begitulah hatiku menjerit melihat keadaan Moab, dan batinku tergerak melihat keadaan Kir-Heres.
(11) 그러므로 마치 수금처럼, 내 마음이 모압을 생각하며 통곡한다. 내 속에서부터 길하레셋을 생각하며 슬피 운다.
(11) Therefore my heart sounds like a harp [in mournful compassion] for Moab, And my inner being mourns for Kir-hareseth.
(12) Maka sekalipun Moab pergi beribadah dan bersusah payah di atas bukit pengorbanan dan masuk ke tempat kudusnya untuk berdoa, ia tidak akan mencapai apa-apa.
(12) 모압 사람이 산당에 올라가 제사를 지내지만 헛된 수고만 한다는 사실을 깨닫고, 자기들의 신전으로 찾아가서 기도를 하지만 아무 소용이 없을 것이다.”
(12) So it will come to pass when Moab presents himself, When he wearies himself [worshiping] on his high place [of idolatry] And comes to his sanctuary [of Chemosh, god of Moab] to pray, That he will not prevail.
(13) Itulah firman yang diucapkan TUHAN tentang Moab pada waktu yang lalu.
(13) 이것이 전에 여호와께서 모압에 관해 하신 말씀이다.
(13) This is the word which the LORD spoke earlier concerning Moab [when Moab's pride and resistance to God were first known].
(14) Maka sekarang TUHAN berfirman: "Dalam tiga tahun, menurut masa kerja prajurit upahan, maka kemuliaan Moab, serta dengan keramaiannya yang besar, akan menjadi kehinaan, dan orang yang tertinggal akan sangat sedikit dan tiada berkuasa."
(14) 이제 여호와께서 다시 말씀하신다. “삼 년이 못 되어 모압이 자랑하던 것들과 그 모든 백성의 무리가 다 모욕을 당할 것이다. 이 삼 년은 품꾼이 정해 놓고 일하는 햇수와도 같다. 살아 남는 자가 별로 없을 것이며, 그들조차도 쇠약해질 것이다.”
(14) But now the LORD speaks, saying, "Within three years, as the years of a hired man [who will not serve longer than the agreed time], the glory of Moab will be degraded along with all the great population, and the remnant [that survives] will be very small and of no account."
