8:1-4 = Anak nabi sebagai tanda
(1) Berfirmanlah TUHAN kepadaku: "Ambillah sebuah batu tulis besar dan tuliskanlah di atasnya dengan tulisan biasa: Maher-Syalal Hash-Bas."
(1) 여호와께서 내게 말씀하셨다. “너는 큰 두루마리를 가져와서 보통 사용하는 글씨체로 ‘마헬살랄하스바스’라고 써라.
(1) {Damascus and Samaria Fall}Then the LORD said to me, "Take for yourself a large tablet [for public display] and write on it in ordinary characters: Belonging to Maher-shalal-hash-baz.
(2) Maka aku memanggil dua saksi yang dapat dipercaya, yaitu imam Uria dan Zakharia bin Yeberekhya.
(2) 내가 믿을 만한 증인인 제사장 우리야와 여베레기야의 아들 스가랴를 세워 증언하게 하겠다.”
(2) And I will get faithful witnesses to attest [to this prophecy] for me, Uriah the priest and Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah."
(3) Kemudian aku menghampiri isteriku; ia mengandung dan melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki. Lalu berfirmanlah TUHAN kepadaku: "Namailah dia: Maher-Syalal Hash-Bas,
(3) 그후, 내가 아내를 가까이했더니, 그녀가 임신하여 아들을 낳았다. 그 때에 여호와께서 내게 말씀하셨다. “그 아이의 이름을 마헬살랄하스바스라고 하여라.
(3) So I approached [my wife] the prophetess, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. Then the LORD said to me, "Name him Maher-shalal-hash-baz [to remind the people of the prophecy];
(4) sebab sebelum anak itu tahu memanggil: Bapa! Ibu! maka kekayaan Damsyik dan jarahan Samaria akan diangkut di depan raja Asyur."
(4) 그 아이가 커서 ‘아빠, 엄마’라고 부를 줄 알기 전에, 앗시리아 왕이 다마스커스와 사마리아의 모든 재물을 빼앗아 갈 것이다.”
(4) for before the boy knows how to say, 'My father' or 'My mother,' the riches of Damascus (Aram's capital) and the spoil of Samaria (Israel's capital) will be carried away by the king of Assyria."
8:5-10 = Penyerbuan Asyur ke Yehuda
(5) TUHAN melanjutkan lagi firman-Nya kepadaku:
(5) 여호와께서 다시 내게 말씀하셨다.
(5) Again the LORD spoke to me, saying,
(6) Oleh karena bangsa ini telah menolak air Syiloah yang mengalir lamban, dan telah tawar hati terhadap Rezin dan anak Remalya,
(6) “이 백성이 천천히 흐르는 실로아 연못물을 버리고 르신과 르말리야의 아들인 베가를 좋아하는구나.
(6) "Because these people (Judah) have refused the gently flowing waters of Shiloah And rejoice in Rezin [the king of Aram] and Remaliah's son [Pekah the king of Israel],
(7) sebab itu, sesungguhnya, Tuhan akan membuat air sungai Efrat yang kuat dan besar, meluap-luap atas mereka, yaitu raja Asyur dengan segala kemuliaannya; air ini akan meluap melampaui segenap salurannya dan akan mengalir melampaui segenap tebingnya,
(7) 그러므로 보아라. 내가 힘있고 거대한 유프라테스 강물, 곧 앗시리아 왕과 그 군대를 보내 그들을 덮치도록 하겠다. 앗시리아 사람들이 물처럼 강둑 위로 솟아올라 그 땅에 흘러 넘칠 것이다.
(7) Now therefore, listen carefully, the Lord is about to bring on them the waters of the [Euphrates] River, strong and abundant— The king of Assyria and all his glory; And it will rise over all its channels and canals and go far beyond its banks.
(8) serta menerobos masuk ke Yehuda, ibarat banjir yang meluap-luap hingga sampai ke leher; dan sayap-sayapnya yang dikembangkan akan menutup seantero negerimu, ya Imanuel!"
(8) 그 물이 유다로 흘러들어와 휘감아 돌면서, 유다의 목까지 차오를 것이다.” 이 군대가 새처럼 그 날개를 펴서 너희 온 나라를 뒤덮을 것이다. 임마누엘, 하나님께서 우리와 함께하신다!
(8) "Then it will sweep on into Judah; it will overflow and pass through [the hills], Reaching even to the neck [of which Jerusalem is the head], And its outstretched wings (the armies of Assyria) will fill the width of Your land, O Immanuel.
(9) Ketahuilah, hai bangsa-bangsa, dan terkejutlah, perhatikanlah, ya segala pelosok bumi, berikatpingganglah, dan terkejutlah; berikatpingganglah dan terkejutlah!
(9) 너희 모든 민족들아, 힘을 합쳐 보아라. 그러나 너희는 망하고 말 것이다. 너희 멀리 떨어진 나라들아, 잘 듣고, 싸울 준비를 하여라. 너희는 망할 것이다! 싸울 준비를 한다 해도 너희는 망할 것이다!
(9) {A Believing Remnant}"Be broken [in pieces], O peoples, and be shattered! Listen, all you [our enemies from the] far countries. Prepare yourselves [for war], and be shattered; Prepare yourselves [for war], and be shattered.
(10) Buatlah rancangan, tetapi akan gagal juga; ambillah keputusan, tetapi tidak terlaksana juga, sebab Allah menyertai kami!
(10) 너희는 전략을 세워 보아라. 그러나 실패할 것이다. 계획을 말해 보아라. 그러나 이루어지지 않을 것이다. 왜냐하면 하나님께서 우리와 함께 계시기 때문이다.
(10) "Take counsel together [against Judah], but it will come to nothing; Speak the word, but it will not stand, For God is with us (Immanuel)."
8:11-22 = Yesaya terpaksa bersembunyi
(11) Sebab beginilah firman TUHAN kepadaku, ketika tangan-Nya menguasai aku, dan ketika Ia memperingatkan aku, supaya jangan mengikuti tingkah laku bangsa ini:
(11) 여호와께서 내 손을 굳게 잡으시고 이렇게 말씀하셨다. “너희는 이 백성의 길을 따라가지 마라.
(11) For in this way the LORD spoke to me with His strong hand [upon me] and instructed me not to walk in the way of this people [behaving as they do], saying,
(12) Jangan sebut persepakatan segala apa yang disebut bangsa ini persepakatan, dan apa yang mereka takuti janganlah kamu takuti dan janganlah gentar melihatnya.
(12) 너희는 이 백성이 말하는 ‘반역’에 끼어들지 마라. 그들이 두려워하는 것을 두려워하지 말고, 무서워하지도 마라.”
(12) "You are not to say, 'It is a conspiracy!' In regard to all that this people call a conspiracy, And you are not to fear what they fear nor be in dread of it.
(13) Tetapi TUHAN semesta alam, Dialah yang harus kamu akui sebagai Yang Kudus; kepada-Nyalah harus kamu takut dan terhadap Dialah harus kamu gentar.
(13) 너희는 오직 만군의 여호와, 주님만을 거룩하다고 하여라. 주님만이 너희가 두려워하며 떨어야 할 분이시다.
(13) "It is the LORD of hosts whom you are to regard as holy and awesome. He shall be your [source of] fear, He shall be your [source of] dread [not man].
(14) Ia akan menjadi tempat kudus, tetapi juga menjadi batu sentuhan dan batu sandungan bagi kedua kaum Israel itu, serta menjadi jerat dan perangkap bagi penduduk Yerusalem.
(14) 여호와께서는 너희의 피난처가 되시지만, 이스라엘과 유다에게는 거치는 돌과 걸려 넘어질 바위가 되시며 예루살렘 백성에게는 함정과 올가미가 되신다.
(14) "Then He shall be a sanctuary [a sacred, indestructible shelter for those who fear and trust Him]; But to both the houses of Israel [both the northern and southern kingdoms—Israel and Judah, He will be] a stone on which to stumble and a rock on which to trip, A trap and a snare for the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
(15) Dan banyak di antara mereka akan tersandung, jatuh dan luka parah, tertangkap dan tertawan."
(15) 많은 사람이 이 바위에 걸려 넘어져 다시는 일어나지 못할 것이며, 덫에 걸린 채로 사로잡힐 것이다.
(15) "Many [among them] will stumble over them; Then they will fall and be broken, They will even be snared and trapped."
(16) Aku harus menyimpan kesaksian ini dan memeteraikan pengajaran ini di antara murid-muridku.
(16) 나는 이 모든 것을 적어서 여호와께서 하실 일의 증거로 삼을 것이다. 나는 이 증거의 말씀을 다음 세대에 전해 줄 내 제자들에게 맡길 것이다.
(16) Bind up the testimony, seal the law and the teaching among my (Isaiah's) disciples.
(17) Dan aku hendak menanti-nantikan TUHAN yang menyembunyikan wajah-Nya terhadap kaum keturunan Yakub; aku hendak mengharapkan Dia.
(17) 여호와께서 야곱 집안을 부끄럽게 여기시지만, 나는 주를 의지하며 기다릴 것이다.
(17) And I will wait for the LORD who is hiding His face from the house of Jacob; and I will look eagerly for Him.
(18) Sesungguhnya, aku dan anak-anak yang telah diberikan TUHAN kepadaku adalah tanda dan alamat di antara orang Israel dari TUHAN semesta alam yang diam di gunung Sion.
(18) 보아라, 내가 여기에 있고, 여호와께서 내게 주신 아이들도 여기에 있다. 우리는 이스라엘 백성을 위한 표적이며 증거이다. 만군의 여호와께서 우리를 보내셨다.
(18) Listen carefully, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are for signs and wonders [that will occur] in Israel from the LORD of hosts, who dwells on Mount Zion.
(19) Dan apabila orang berkata kepada kamu: "Mintalah petunjuk kepada arwah dan roh-roh peramal yang berbisik-bisik dan komat-kamit," maka jawablah: "Bukankah suatu bangsa patut meminta petunjuk kepada allahnya? Atau haruskah mereka meminta petunjuk kepada orang-orang mati bagi orang-orang hidup?"
(19) 사람들이 너희에게 말하기를 “소곤대고 중얼거리며 죽은 사람을 불러내 점을 치는 무당과 점쟁이들에게 물어 보라”고 한다. 그러나 마땅히 자기 하나님께 물어 보아야 하지 않겠느냐? 어찌하여 산 사람이 죽은 것에게 묻느냐?
(19) When the people [instead of trusting God] say to you, "Consult the mediums [who try to talk to the dead] and the soothsayers who chirp and whisper and mutter," should not a people consult their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?
(20) Carilah pengajaran dan kesaksian!
(20) 너희는 여호와의 가르침을 따르고, 그가 주시는 증거의 말씀을 지켜야 한다. 만일 그들이 이 말씀대로 따르지 않는다면, 동트는 것도 보지 못할 것이다.
(20) [Direct those people] to the law and to the testimony! If their teachings are not in accord with this word, it is because they have no dawn.
(21) Mereka akan lalu lalang di negeri itu, melarat dan lapar, dan apabila mereka lapar, mereka akan gusar dan akan mengutuk rajanya dan Allahnya; mereka akan menengadah ke langit,
(21) 그런 사람은 괴로움과 굶주림 속에서 이 땅을 헤맬 것이다. 그들은 굶주림을 이기지 못해 화를 내고 위를 쳐다보며 자기들의 왕과 하나님을 저주할 것이다.
(21) They [who consult mediums and soothsayers] will pass through the land deeply distressed and hungry, and when they are hungry, they will become enraged and will curse their king and their God as they look upward.
(22) dan akan melihat ke bumi, dan sesungguhnya, hanya kesesakan dan kegelapan, kesuraman yang mengimpit, dan mereka akan dibuang ke dalam kabut.
(22) 그들이 땅을 둘러볼지라도, 오직 고통과 어둠과 무서운 그늘만 보일 것이다. 그들은 어둠 속으로 내몰릴 것이다.
(22) Then they will look to the earth, they will see only distress and darkness, the gloom of anguish; and they will be driven away into darkness and overwhelming night.
