2:1-10 = Semuanya adalah kasih karunia
(1) Kamu dahulu sudah mati karena pelanggaran-pelanggaran dan dosa-dosamu.
(1) 불순종과 죄로 인하여 여러분은 영적으로 죽은 사람들이었습니다.
(1) {Made Alive in Christ}And you [He made alive when you] were [spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of your transgressions and sins,
(2) Kamu hidup di dalamnya, karena kamu mengikuti jalan dunia ini, karena kamu mentaati penguasa kerajaan angkasa, yaitu roh yang sekarang sedang bekerja di antara orang-orang durhaka.
(2) 세상 사람들과 똑같이 살며, 땅 위의 권세 잡은 악한 세력에 순종하였습니다. 이 악한 영은 지금도 하나님을 대항하는 자들의 마음속에서 활동하고 있습니다.
(2) in which you once walked. You were following the ways of this world [influenced by this present age], in accordance with the prince of the power of the air (Satan), the spirit who is now at work in the disobedient [the unbelieving, who fight against the purposes of God].
(3) Sebenarnya dahulu kami semua juga terhitung di antara mereka, ketika kami hidup di dalam hawa nafsu daging dan menuruti kehendak daging dan pikiran kami yang jahat. Pada dasarnya kami adalah orang-orang yang harus dimurkai, sama seperti mereka yang lain.
(3) 우리 모두 저들과 똑같이 죄된 본성을 좇아 행하고, 육체와 마음이 원하는 대로 온갖 일을 저질렀습니다. 우리가 하나님의 분노를 사는 것은 당연한 결과입니다. 왜냐하면 그렇게 살아왔기 때문입니다.
(3) Among these [unbelievers] we all once lived in the passions of our flesh [our behavior governed by the sinful self], indulging the desires of human nature [without the Holy Spirit] and [the impulses] of the [sinful] mind. We were, by nature, children [under the sentence] of [God's] wrath, just like the rest [of mankind].
(4) Tetapi Allah yang kaya dengan rahmat, oleh karena kasih-Nya yang besar, yang dilimpahkan-Nya kepada kita,
(4) 그러나 하나님은 자비로우시고 우리를 너무나 사랑하셔서, 그냥 내버려 두지 않으셨습니다.
(4) But God, being [so very] rich in mercy, because of His great and wonderful love with which He loved us,
(5) telah menghidupkan kita bersama-sama dengan Kristus, sekalipun kita telah mati oleh kesalahan-kesalahan kita--oleh kasih karunia kamu diselamatkan--
(5) 하나님의 뜻을 따르지 않아 영적으로 죽은 우리들에게, 그리스도를 통하여 새 생명을 주신 것입니다. 여러분은 하나님의 은혜로 구원을 받았습니다.
(5) even when we were [spiritually] dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us [spiritually] alive together with Christ (for by His grace—His undeserved favor and mercy—you have been saved from God's judgment).
(6) dan di dalam Kristus Yesus Ia telah membangkitkan kita juga dan memberikan tempat bersama-sama dengan Dia di sorga,
(6) 하나님은 우리를 그리스도와 함께 살리시고, 하늘 위에 있는 그분의 보좌 곁에 우리를 앉혀 주셨습니다.
(6) And He raised us up together with Him [when we believed], and seated us with Him in the heavenly places, [because we are] in Christ Jesus,
(7) supaya pada masa yang akan datang Ia menunjukkan kepada kita kekayaan kasih karunia-Nya yang melimpah-limpah sesuai dengan kebaikan-Nya terhadap kita dalam Kristus Yesus.
(7) 또한 앞으로 오는 모든 세대에게 하나님의 은혜가 얼마나 크고 놀라운지를 보여 주시려고, 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 우리 모두에게 그의 자비를 나타내셨습니다.
(7) [and He did this] so that in the ages to come He might [clearly] show the immeasurable and unsurpassed riches of His grace in [His] kindness toward us in Christ Jesus [by providing for our redemption].
(8) Sebab karena kasih karunia kamu diselamatkan oleh iman; itu bukan hasil usahamu, tetapi pemberian Allah,
(8) 여러분은 하나님의 은혜 안에서 믿음으로 구원을 받았습니다. 여러분 스스로는 자신을 구원할 수 없습니다. 구원은 하나님의 선물입니다.
(8) For it is by grace [God's remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ] that you have been saved [actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life] through faith. And this [salvation] is not of yourselves [not through your own effort], but it is the [undeserved, gracious] gift of God;
(9) itu bukan hasil pekerjaanmu: jangan ada orang yang memegahkan diri.
(9) 또한 여러분의 착한 행동으로도 구원받았다고 자랑할 수 없습니다.
(9) not as a result of [your] works [nor your attempts to keep the Law], so that no one will [be able to] boast or take credit in any way [for his salvation].
(10) Karena kita ini buatan Allah, diciptakan dalam Kristus Yesus untuk melakukan pekerjaan baik, yang dipersiapkan Allah sebelumnya. Ia mau, supaya kita hidup di dalamnya.
(10) 우리를 창조하신 분은 하나님이십니다. 그리스도 예수 안에서 우리를 새 사람으로 변화시켜 착한 일을 하게 하신 분도 하나님이십니다. 하나님께서는 우리 안에 이미 오래 전부터 선한 일을 계획해 놓으셨습니다. 우리의 삶이 선하게 되도록 그렇게 계획해 놓으셨습니다.
(10) For we are His workmanship [His own master work, a work of art], created in Christ Jesus [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used] for good works, which God prepared [for us] beforehand [taking paths which He set], so that we would walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us].
2:11-22 = Dipersatukan di dalam Kristus
(11) Karena itu ingatlah, bahwa dahulu kamu--sebagai orang-orang bukan Yahudi menurut daging, yang disebut orang-orang tak bersunat oleh mereka yang menamakan dirinya "sunat", yaitu sunat lahiriah yang dikerjakan oleh tangan manusia, --
(11) 여러분은 이방인으로 태어났습니다. 유대인들로부터 “할례받지 못한 자”라고 손가락질당했습니다. 그들은 자신들을 ‘할례받은 자’라고 자랑합니다. 그들이 말하는 할례는 단지 몸의 한 부분에 행하는 의식에 지나지 않는 것인데도 말입니다.
(11) Therefore, remember that at one time you Gentiles by birth, who are called "Uncircumcision" by those who called themselves "Circumcision," [itself a mere mark] which is made in the flesh by human hands—
(12) bahwa waktu itu kamu tanpa Kristus, tidak termasuk kewargaan Israel dan tidak mendapat bagian dalam ketentuan-ketentuan yang dijanjikan, tanpa pengharapan dan tanpa Allah di dalam dunia.
(12) 그러나 하나님 없이 살았던 지난날을 잊지 말기 바랍니다. 여러분은 이스라엘 자손도 아니며 그의 백성에게 약속하신 복의 기업도 받을 수 없는 사람들이었습니다. 소망도 없고 하나님도 모르는 자들이지 않았습니까?
(12) remember that at that time you were separated from Christ [excluded from any relationship with Him], alienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise [with no share in the sacred Messianic promise and without knowledge of God's agreements], having no hope [in His promise] and [living] in the world without God.
(13) Tetapi sekarang di dalam Kristus Yesus kamu, yang dahulu "jauh", sudah menjadi "dekat" oleh darah Kristus.
(13) 하지만 하나님을 알지 못하고 살았던 여러분이 이제는 예수 그리스도 안에서 그리스도의 보혈로 인해 하나님과 가까워질 수 있게 되었습니다.
(13) But now [at this very moment] in Christ Jesus you who once were [so very] far away [from God] have been brought near by the blood of Christ.
(14) Karena Dialah damai sejahtera kita, yang telah mempersatukan kedua pihak dan yang telah merubuhkan tembok pemisah, yaitu perseteruan,
(14) 그리스도를 통해 평안을 누리고, 유대인과 이방인이 하나님 안에서 하나가 되었습니다. 이전에는 마치 둘 사이에 벽이 가로놓여 있는 것 같았으나, 예수 그리스도는 자신의 몸을 내어 주심으로써 그 미움의 벽을 허물어뜨리셨습니다.
(14) For He Himself is our peace and our bond of unity. He who made both groups—[Jews and Gentiles]—into one body and broke down the barrier, the dividing wall [of spiritual antagonism between us],
(15) sebab dengan mati-Nya sebagai manusia Ia telah membatalkan hukum Taurat dengan segala perintah dan ketentuannya, untuk menciptakan keduanya menjadi satu manusia baru di dalam diri-Nya, dan dengan itu mengadakan damai sejahtera,
(15) 유대인의 율법에는 너무나 많은 명령과 규칙이 있었습니다. 그러나 예수님은 이러한 율법을 폐하셨습니다. 유대인과 이방인을 갈라 놓던 율법을 없애심으로, 이 둘이 그리스도 안에서 하나가 되어 새 사람이 되게 하셨던 것입니다. 이로써 예수님은 우리의 평화가 되셨습니다.
(15) by abolishing in His [own crucified] flesh the hostility caused by the Law with its commandments contained in ordinances [which He satisfied]; so that in Himself He might make the two into one new man, thereby establishing peace.
(16) dan untuk memperdamaikan keduanya, di dalam satu tubuh, dengan Allah oleh salib, dengan melenyapkan perseteruan pada salib itu.
(16) 예수 그리스도는 십자가에 달려 죽으심으로 유대인과 이방인 사이에 가로막힌 미움의 벽을 허물어뜨리셨습니다. 이 둘을 하나가 되게 함으로써 이 둘 모두 하나님과 화목하게 되기를 바라셨습니다.
(16) And [that He] might reconcile them both [Jew and Gentile, united] in one body to God through the cross, thereby putting to death the hostility.
(17) Ia datang dan memberitakan damai sejahtera kepada kamu yang "jauh" dan damai sejahtera kepada mereka yang "dekat",
(17) 그리스도는 하나님을 모르는 이방인들에게 찾아오셨고 하나님을 믿는 유대인들에게도 찾아오셔서, 평화에 대해 가르치셨습니다.
(17) And He came and preached the good news of peace to you [Gentiles] who were far away, and peace to those [Jews] who were near.
(18) karena oleh Dia kita kedua pihak dalam satu Roh beroleh jalan masuk kepada Bapa.
(18) 그러므로 우리 모두는 그리스도를 통해 한 성령 안에서 아버지께로 나아갈 수 있게 되었습니다.
(18) For it is through Him that we both have a [direct] way of approach in one Spirit to the Father.
(19) Demikianlah kamu bukan lagi orang asing dan pendatang, melainkan kawan sewarga dari orang-orang kudus dan anggota-anggota keluarga Allah,
(19) 이제 여러분은 더 이상 낯선 나그네나 손님이 아닙니다. 이제는 하나님의 거룩한 백성으로 하늘의 시민이요, 가족입니다.
(19) So then you are no longer strangers and aliens [outsiders without rights of citizenship], but you are fellow citizens with the saints (God's people), and are [members] of God's household,
(20) yang dibangun di atas dasar para rasul dan para nabi, dengan Kristus Yesus sebagai batu penjuru.
(20) 성도는 사도와 예언자들이 닦아 놓은 기초 위에 세워진 하나님의 집이며, 그리스도 예수께서 친히 그 건물의 머릿돌이 되어 주십니다.
(20) having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the [chief] Cornerstone,
(21) Di dalam Dia tumbuh seluruh bangunan, rapih tersusun, menjadi bait Allah yang kudus, di dalam Tuhan.
(21) 건물 전체가 그리스도 안에서 서로 연결되어 주님의 거룩한 성전으로 점점 자라갈 것입니다.
(21) in whom the whole structure is joined together, and it continues [to increase] growing into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, set apart, and sacred to the presence of the Lord].
(22) Di dalam Dia kamu juga turut dibangunkan menjadi tempat kediaman Allah, di dalam Roh.
(22) 여러분 역시 유대인들과 함께 그리스도 안에서 함께 지어져 가고 있습니다. 성령을 통해 하나님이 친히 거하시는 곳으로 여러분은 아름답게 지어져 갈 것입니다.
(22) In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
