3:1-17 = Menyeberangi sungai Yordan
(1) Yosua bangun pagi-pagi, lalu ia dan semua orang Israel berangkat dari Sitim, dan sampailah mereka ke sungai Yordan, maka bermalamlah mereka di sana, sebelum menyeberang.
(1) 이튿날 여호수아는 아침 일찍 일어났습니다. 여호수아는 이스라엘 백성과 함께 싯딤을 떠나 요단 강까지 갔습니다. 그리고 강을 건너기 전, 그 곳에 진을 쳤습니다.
(1) {Israel Crosses the Jordan}Joshua got up early in the morning; then he and all the children of Israel set out from Shittim and came to the Jordan, and they spent the night there before they crossed [the river].
(2) Setelah lewat tiga hari, para pengatur pasukan menjalani seluruh perkemahan,
(2) 삼 일 후, 지도자들이 진 사이로 돌아다니면서
(2) And it happened at the end of three days that the officers went throughout the camp,
(3) dan memberi perintah kepada bangsa itu, katanya: "Segera sesudah kamu melihat tabut perjanjian TUHAN, Allahmu, yang diangkat para imam, yang memang suku Lewi, maka kamu harus juga berangkat dari tempatmu dan mengikutinya--
(3) 백성에게 명령했습니다. “여러분은 제사장들과 레위 사람들이 여러분의 하나님 여호와의 언약궤를 메고 가는 것을 볼 것이오. 그러면 여러분은 지금 있는 곳을 떠나 그 뒤를 따라가시오.
(3) and they commanded the people, "When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God being carried by the Levitical priests, then you shall set out from where you are and follow it.
(4) hanya antara kamu dan tabut itu harus ada jarak kira-kira dua ribu hasta panjangnya, janganlah mendekatinya--maksudnya supaya kamu mengetahui jalan yang harus kamu tempuh, sebab jalan itu belum pernah kamu lalui dahulu."
(4) 이제 여러분은 한 번도 가 본 적이 없는 길을 가게 될 것이오. 그러나 언약궤를 따라가면 어느 길로 가야 할 것인가를 알 수 있을 것이오. 언약궤를 너무 가까이하지 말고, 이천 규빗 정도의 거리를 두고 따라가시오.”
(4) However, there shall be a distance between you and it of about 2,000 cubits (3,000 ft.) by measurement. Do not come near it, so that you may [be able to see the ark and] know the way you are to go, for you have not passed this way before."
(5) Berkatalah Yosua kepada bangsa itu: "Kuduskanlah dirimu, sebab besok TUHAN akan melakukan perbuatan yang ajaib di antara kamu."
(5) 그후에 여호수아가 백성에게 말했습니다. “여호와를 위해 자신을 거룩하게 하시오. 내일이면 여호와께서 여러분에게 놀라운 일을 행하실 것이오.”
(5) Then Joshua said to the people, "Sanctify yourselves [for His purpose], for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders (miracles) among you."
(6) Dan kepada para imam itu Yosua berkata, demikian: "Angkatlah tabut perjanjian dan menyeberanglah di depan bangsa itu." Maka mereka mengangkat tabut perjanjian dan berjalan di depan bangsa itu.
(6) 그리고 여호수아는 제사장들에게 말했습니다. “언약궤를 메고 백성들 앞에서 강을 건너시오.” 그러자 제사장들은 백성들 앞에서 그 언약궤를 메고 갔습니다.
(6) Joshua said to the priests, "Take up the ark of the covenant and cross over [the river] ahead of the people." So they took up the ark of the covenant and went on ahead of the people.
(7) Dan TUHAN berfirman kepada Yosua: "Pada hari inilah Aku mulai membesarkan namamu di mata seluruh orang Israel, supaya mereka tahu, bahwa seperti dahulu Aku menyertai Musa, demikianlah Aku akan menyertai engkau.
(7) 그 때에 여호와께서 여호수아에게 말씀하셨습니다. “오늘부터 내가 너를 모든 이스라엘 사람들 앞에서 큰 사람이 되게 하겠다. 그러면 백성은 내가 모세와 함께했던 것같이 너와 함께한다는 것을 알게 될 것이다.
(7) The LORD said to Joshua, "This day I will begin to magnify and exalt you in the sight of all Israel, so that they may know that just as I was with Moses, I will [also] be with you.
(8) Maka kauperintahkanlah kepada para imam pengangkat tabut perjanjian itu, demikian: Setelah kamu sampai ke tepi air sungai Yordan, haruslah kamu tetap berdiri di sungai Yordan itu."
(8) 언약궤를 나르는 제사장들에게 말하여라. 그들에게 요단 강가에 도착하면 물 한가운데로 들어가라고 하여라.”
(8) You shall command the priests who carry the ark of the covenant, saying, 'When you come to the edge of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.'"
(9) Lalu berkatalah Yosua kepada orang Israel: "Datanglah dekat dan dengarkanlah firman TUHAN, Allahmu."
(9) 그리하여 여호수아는 이스라엘 백성에게 말했습니다. “이리 와서 여러분의 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 들으시오.
(9) Joshua said to the Israelites, "Come here, and listen to the words of the LORD your God."
(10) Lagi kata Yosua: "Dari hal inilah akan kamu ketahui, bahwa Allah yang hidup ada di tengah-tengah kamu dan bahwa sungguh-sungguh akan dihalau-Nya orang Kanaan, orang Het, orang Hewi, orang Feris, orang Girgasi, orang Amori dan orang Yebus itu dari depan kamu:
(10) 살아 계신 하나님이 여러분과 함께 하신다는 것을 여러분은 알 것이오. 하나님이 가나안 사람, 헷 사람, 히위 사람, 브리스 사람, 기르가스 사람, 아모리 사람, 여부스 사람을 쫓아 내실 것이라는 것을 알게 될 것이오.
(10) Joshua said, "By this you shall know that the living God is among you, and that He will, without fail, drive out from before you the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Hivite, the Perizzite, the Girgashite, the Amorite, and the Jebusite.
(11) sesungguhnya, tabut perjanjian Tuhan semesta bumi berjalan menyeberang di depan kamu, masuk ke sungai Yordan.
(11) 보시오, 온 땅의 주인이신 주님의 언약궤가 여러분보다 먼저 요단 강에 들어갈 것이오.
(11) Behold, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of all the earth is crossing over ahead of you [leading the way] into the Jordan.
(12) Maka sekarang, pilihlah dua belas orang dari suku-suku Israel, seorang dari tiap-tiap suku.
(12) 이제 이스라엘의 열두 지파에서 한 사람씩 열두 사람을 뽑으시오.
(12) So now take for yourselves twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one man from each tribe.
(13) Segera sesudah kaki para imam pengangkat tabut TUHAN, Tuhan semesta bumi, berhenti di dalam air sungai Yordan, maka air sungai Yordan itu akan terputus; air yang turun dari hulu akan berhenti mengalir menjadi bendungan."
(13) 온 땅의 주인이신 여호와의 언약궤를 메고 가는 제사장들의 발이 물 속에 닿으면, 강물의 흐름이 그치고 물이 흐르지 않게 될 것이오. 마치 둑에 가로막힌 것처럼 물이 멈춰 쌓이게 될 것이오.”
(13) When the soles of the feet of the priests who carry the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, [come to] rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan flowing down from above will be cut off, and they will stand in one mass [of water]."
(14) Ketika bangsa itu berangkat dari tempat perkemahan mereka untuk menyeberangi sungai Yordan, para imam pengangkat tabut perjanjian itu berjalan di depan bangsa itu.
(14) 백성들이 요단 강을 건너기 위해 진치던 곳을 떠났을 때, 제사장들은 백성들 앞에서 언약궤를 옮겼습니다.
(14) So when the people set out from their tents to cross over the Jordan with the priests who were carrying the ark of the covenant before the people,
(15) Segera sesudah para pengangkat tabut itu sampai ke sungai Yordan, dan para imam pengangkat tabut itu mencelupkan kakinya ke dalam air di tepi sungai itu--sungai Yordan itu sebak sampai meluap sepanjang tepinya selama musim menuai--
(15) 추수할 때가 되면 요단 강의 물이 가득 차는데, 그 때도 물이 넘쳐 흐르고 있었습니다. 언약궤를 나르던 제사장들이 강가에 도착하여 강물에 발을 내디뎠습니다.
(15) and when those who were carrying the ark came up to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests carrying the ark were submerged at the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all of its banks throughout the time of harvest),
(16) maka berhentilah air itu mengalir. Air yang turun dari hulu melonjak menjadi bendungan, jauh sekali, di dekat Adam, kota yang terletak di sebelah Sartan, sedang air yang turun ke Laut Araba itu, yakni Laut Asin, terputus sama sekali. Lalu menyeberanglah bangsa itu, di tentangan Yerikho.
(16) 바로 그 순간, 강물의 흐름이 그치고 강물은 멀리 떨어진 아담이라는 곳까지 둑처럼 쌓였습니다. 그 곳은 사르단 근처의 한 마을입니다. 사해로 흐르는 요단 강물이 완전히 말라 버려서 백성들은 여리고 근처로 강을 건널 수 있었습니다.
(16) the waters which were flowing down from above stopped and rose up in one mass a great distance away at Adam, the city that is beside Zarethan. Those [waters] flowing downward toward the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, were completely cut off. So the people crossed [the river] opposite Jericho.
(17) Tetapi para imam pengangkat tabut perjanjian TUHAN itu tetap berdiri di tanah yang kering, di tengah-tengah sungai Yordan, sedang seluruh bangsa Israel menyeberang di tanah yang kering, sampai seluruh bangsa itu selesai menyeberangi sungai Yordan.
(17) 강바닥은 완전히 말랐습니다. 이스라엘 모든 백성이 강을 건너는 동안, 제사장들은 언약궤를 멘 채 강 가운데에 서 있었습니다. 이스라엘 백성들은 마른 땅을 밟으며 요단 강을 건넜습니다.
(17) And while all [the people of] Israel crossed over on dry ground, the priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the midst of the Jordan [riverbed], until all the nation had finished crossing over the Jordan.
