(sambungan dari) 2:28 - 3:10 = Anak-anak Allah
(1) Lihatlah, betapa besarnya kasih yang dikaruniakan Bapa kepada kita, sehingga kita disebut anak-anak Allah, dan memang kita adalah anak-anak Allah. Karena itu dunia tidak mengenal kita, sebab dunia tidak mengenal Dia.
(1) 아버지께서 우리를 얼마나 사랑하고 계신지 생각해 보십시오. 하나님께서는 우리를 너무나 사랑하셔서, 우리를 그분의 자녀라고 불러 주셨습니다. 이제 우리는 정말로 그분의 자녀입니다. 그러나 세상 사람들은 우리를 이해하지 못합니다. 왜냐하면 그들은 하나님을 모르기 때문입니다.
(1) {Children of God Love One Another}See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
(2) Saudara-saudaraku yang kekasih, sekarang kita adalah anak-anak Allah, tetapi belum nyata apa keadaan kita kelak; akan tetapi kita tahu, bahwa apabila Kristus menyatakan diri-Nya, kita akan menjadi sama seperti Dia, sebab kita akan melihat Dia dalam keadaan-Nya yang sebenarnya.
(2) 사랑하는 친구들이여, 우리는 분명한 하나님의 자녀입니다. 우리가 아직은 미래에 어떤 모습으로 있게 될지 알 수 없지만, 그리스도께서 다시 오실 그 때에는 우리의 모습이 그와 같을 줄을 알고 있습니다. 우리는 그분의 참모습을 보게 될 것입니다.
(2) Beloved, we are [even here and] now children of God, and it is not yet made clear what we will be [after His coming]. We know that when He comes and is revealed, we will [as His children] be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is [in all His glory].
(3) Setiap orang yang menaruh pengharapan itu kepada-Nya, menyucikan diri sama seperti Dia yang adalah suci.
(3) 예수 그리스도는 깨끗하신 분이십니다. 적어도 그리스도 안에서 이러한 소망을 가지고 있는 사람이라면 그리스도와 같이 자기 자신을 깨끗하게 지켜야 할 것입니다.
(3) And everyone who has this hope [confidently placed] in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure (holy, undefiled, guiltless).
(4) Setiap orang yang berbuat dosa, melanggar juga hukum Allah, sebab dosa ialah pelanggaran hukum Allah.
(4) 죄를 짓는 자는 하나님의 법을 깨뜨리는 사람입니다. 죄를 짓는다는 것은 하나님의 법을 어기며 사는 것과 같습니다.
(4) Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness [ignoring God's law by action or neglect or by tolerating wrongdoing—being unrestrained by His commands and His will].
(5) Dan kamu tahu, bahwa Ia telah menyatakan diri-Nya, supaya Ia menghapus segala dosa, dan di dalam Dia tidak ada dosa.
(5) 여러분도 알고 있는 것처럼, 그리스도는 죄를 없애기 위해 오셨으며, 그리스도께서는 죄가 없으십니다.
(5) You know that He appeared [in visible form as a man] in order to take away sins; and in Him there is [absolutely] no sin [for He has neither the sin nature nor has He committed sin or acts worthy of blame].
(6) Karena itu setiap orang yang tetap berada di dalam Dia, tidak berbuat dosa lagi; setiap orang yang tetap berbuat dosa, tidak melihat dan tidak mengenal Dia.
(6) 그러므로 그리스도 안에 사는 사람은 더 이상 죄를 짓지 않습니다. 만약 그가 계속하여 죄를 짓는다면, 그는 그리스도를 진정 이해하지 못한 것이며, 또한 그리스도를 알았다고도 할 수 없을 것입니다.
(6) No one who abides in Him [who remains united in fellowship with Him—deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin. No one who habitually sins has seen Him or known Him.
(7) Anak-anakku, janganlah membiarkan seorangpun menyesatkan kamu. Barangsiapa yang berbuat kebenaran adalah benar, sama seperti Kristus adalah benar;
(7) 사랑하는 자녀들이여, 어느 누구라도 여러분을 잘못된 길로 인도하지 못하게 하십시오. 그리스도는 의로우신 분입니다. 그리스도와 같아지려면 올바른 일을 해야 합니다.
(7) Little children (believers, dear ones), do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who practices righteousness [the one who strives to live a consistently honorable life—in private as well as in public—and to conform to God's precepts] is righteous, just as He is righteous.
(8) barangsiapa yang tetap berbuat dosa, berasal dari Iblis, sebab Iblis berbuat dosa dari mulanya. Untuk inilah Anak Allah menyatakan diri-Nya, yaitu supaya Ia membinasakan perbuatan-perbuatan Iblis itu.
(8) 마귀는 태초부터 지금까지 죄를 지어 오고 있습니다. 계속하여 죄를 짓는 사람은 마귀에게 속한 자입니다. 하나님의 아들은 바로 이 마귀의 일을 멸하기 위해서 오셨습니다.
(8) The one who practices sin [separating himself from God, and offending Him by acts of disobedience, indifference, or rebellion] is of the devil [and takes his inner character and moral values from him, not God]; for the devil has sinned and violated God's law from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
(9) Setiap orang yang lahir dari Allah, tidak berbuat dosa lagi; sebab benih ilahi tetap ada di dalam dia dan ia tidak dapat berbuat dosa, karena ia lahir dari Allah.
(9) 하나님께서 누군가를 그의 자녀로 삼으셨을 때, 그 사람은 더 이상 죄를 짓지 않습니다. 그것은 하나님께서 주신 새로운 삶의 씨가 그의 안에 머무르게 되기 때문입니다. 그는 이제 하나님의 자녀가 되었기 때문에 계속하여 죄를 짓고 살 수 없습니다.
(9) No one who is born of God [deliberately, knowingly, and habitually] practices sin, because God's seed [His principle of life, the essence of His righteous character] remains [permanently] in him [who is born again—who is reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, and set apart for His purpose]; and he [who is born again] cannot habitually [live a life characterized by] sin, because he is born of God and longs to please Him.
(10) Inilah tandanya anak-anak Allah dan anak-anak Iblis: setiap orang yang tidak berbuat kebenaran, tidak berasal dari Allah, demikian juga barangsiapa yang tidak mengasihi saudaranya.
(10) 이것으로 우리는 누가 하나님의 자녀이며, 누가 마귀의 자녀인지를 알 수 있습니다. 올바른 일을 행하지 않는 사람은 하나님의 자녀가 아닙니다. 그리고 자기 형제를 사랑하지 않는 사람도 하나님의 자녀가 아닙니다.
(10) By this the children of God and the children of the devil are clearly identified: anyone who does not practice righteousness [who does not seek God's will in thought, action, and purpose] is not of God, nor is the one who does not [unselfishly] love his [believing] brother.
3:11-18 = Kasih terhadap saudara sebagai tanda hidup baru
(11) Sebab inilah berita yang telah kamu dengar dari mulanya, yaitu bahwa kita harus saling mengasihi;
(11) 여러분이 처음부터 들어 온 말씀은 우리가 서로 사랑해야 한다는 것입니다.
(11) For this is the message which you [believers] have heard from the beginning [of your relationship with Christ], that we should [unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another;
(12) bukan seperti Kain, yang berasal dari si jahat dan yang membunuh adiknya. Dan apakah sebabnya ia membunuhnya? Sebab segala perbuatannya jahat dan perbuatan adiknya benar.
(12) 악한 자에게 속했던 가인과 같이 되지 마십시오. 가인은 자기 동생을 죽였습니다. 자기 동생을 죽인 이유는 자기는 악한 일을 했고, 동생은 선한 일을 했기 때문입니다.
(12) and not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother [Abel]. And why did he murder him? Because Cain's deeds were evil, and his brother's were righteous.
(13) Janganlah kamu heran, saudara-saudara, apabila dunia membenci kamu.
(13) 형제 여러분, 이 세상 사람들이 여러분을 미워할 때, 놀라지 마십시오.
(13) Do not be surprised, believers, if the world hates you.
(14) Kita tahu, bahwa kita sudah berpindah dari dalam maut ke dalam hidup, yaitu karena kita mengasihi saudara kita. Barangsiapa tidak mengasihi, ia tetap di dalam maut.
(14) 우리는 죽음을 벗어나 생명으로 옮기웠음을 알고 있습니다. 우리는 이것을 그리스도 안에서 우리 형제들을 서로서로 사랑함으로써 알 수 있습니다. 서로 사랑하지 않는 사람은 죽음 가운데 거하는 사람입니다.
(14) We know that we have passed out of death into Life, because we love the brothers and sisters. He who does not love remains in [spiritual] death.
(15) Setiap orang yang membenci saudaranya, adalah seorang pembunuh manusia. Dan kamu tahu, bahwa tidak ada seorang pembunuh yang tetap memiliki hidup yang kekal di dalam dirinya.
(15) 자기 형제를 미워하는 사람은 누구나 살인자입니다. 여러분도 아시다시피 살인자에게는 영원한 생명이 있을 수 없습니다.
(15) Everyone who hates (works against) his brother [in Christ] is [at heart] a murderer [by God's standards]; and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
(16) Demikianlah kita ketahui kasih Kristus, yaitu bahwa Ia telah menyerahkan nyawa-Nya untuk kita; jadi kitapun wajib menyerahkan nyawa kita untuk saudara-saudara kita.
(16) 예수님께서 우리를 위하여 그의 생명을 주심으로써 우리는 진실한 사랑이 어떠한 것인지를 알게 되었습니다. 그러므로 우리도 우리 형제를 위하여 우리 생명을 내어 줌이 마땅합니다.
(16) By this we know [and have come to understand the depth and essence of His precious] love: that He [willingly] laid down His life for us [because He loved us]. And we ought to lay down our lives for the believers.
(17) Barangsiapa mempunyai harta duniawi dan melihat saudaranya menderita kekurangan tetapi menutup pintu hatinya terhadap saudaranya itu, bagaimanakah kasih Allah dapat tetap di dalam dirinya?
(17) 어떤 한 믿는 사람이 자기가 필요로 하는 것은 다 가질 수 있을 만큼 부자라고 합시다. 만약 그가 가난하고 필요한 것들을 갖지 못한 형제를 보고도, 그 형제를 돕지 않는다면 어떻겠습니까? 그는 마음속에 하나님의 사랑이 없는 사람일 것입니다.
(17) But whoever has the world's goods (adequate resources), and sees his brother in need, but has no compassion for him, how does the love of God live in him?
(18) Anak-anakku, marilah kita mengasihi bukan dengan perkataan atau dengan lidah, tetapi dengan perbuatan dan dalam kebenaran.
(18) 자녀들이여, 우리는 말로만 사랑하는 사람이 되어서는 안 됩니다. 우리의 사랑은 진실되어야 합니다. 그리고 우리는 행함으로써 그 사랑을 보여야 할 것입니다.
(18) Little children (believers, dear ones), let us not love [merely in theory] with word or with tongue [giving lip service to compassion], but in action and in truth [in practice and in sincerity, because practical acts of love are more than words].
3:19-24 = Keyakinan di hadapan Allah
(19) Demikianlah kita ketahui, bahwa kita berasal dari kebenaran. Demikian pula kita boleh menenangkan hati kita di hadapan Allah,
(19) 이를 통해 우리가 진리에 속하였음을 알 수 있게 되며, 하나님 앞에서도 평안할 수 있게 됩니다.
(19) By this we will know [without any doubt] that we are of the truth, and will assure our heart and quiet our conscience before Him
(20) sebab jika kita dituduh olehnya, Allah adalah lebih besar dari pada hati kita serta mengetahui segala sesuatu.
(20) 우리의 양심이 우리를 책망하는데, 우리의 양심보다 크시며, 또한 모든 것을 아시는 하나님께서는 얼마나 더 우리를 책망하시겠습니까?
(20) whenever our heart convicts us [in guilt]; for God is greater than our heart and He knows all things [nothing is hidden from Him because we are in His hands].
(21) Saudara-saudaraku yang kekasih, jikalau hati kita tidak menuduh kita, maka kita mempunyai keberanian percaya untuk mendekati Allah,
(21) 사랑하는 친구들이여, 만약 우리가 양심의 가책을 받지 않는다면, 우리는 아무런 두려움 없이 하나님 앞에 나아갈 수 있을 것입니다.
(21) Beloved, if our heart does not convict us [of guilt], we have confidence [complete assurance and boldness] before God;
(22) dan apa saja yang kita minta, kita memperolehnya dari pada-Nya, karena kita menuruti segala perintah-Nya dan berbuat apa yang berkenan kepada-Nya.
(22) 그리고 하나님은 우리가 구하는 것들을 우리에게 주실 것입니다. 우리가 이러한 것들을 받을 수 있는 것은 우리가 하나님의 명령을 지켰고, 하나님이 기뻐하시는 일들을 했기 때문입니다.
(22) and we receive from Him whatever we ask because we [carefully and consistently] keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight [habitually seeking to follow His plan for us].
(23) Dan inilah perintah-Nya itu: supaya kita percaya akan nama Yesus Kristus, Anak-Nya, dan supaya kita saling mengasihi sesuai dengan perintah yang diberikan Kristus kepada kita.
(23) 하나님께서 명령하신 것은 그의 아들 예수 그리스도의 이름을 믿고, 그분이 우리에게 명령하신 대로 서로 사랑하는 것입니다.
(23) This is His commandment, that we believe [with personal faith and confident trust] in the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and [that we unselfishly] love and seek the best for one another, just as He commanded us.
(24) Barangsiapa menuruti segala perintah-Nya, ia diam di dalam Allah dan Allah di dalam dia. Dan demikianlah kita ketahui, bahwa Allah ada di dalam kita, yaitu Roh yang telah Ia karuniakan kepada kita.
(24) 하나님의 명령을 지키는 사람은 하나님 안에서 살게 되고, 하나님도 그 사람 안에 거하시게 됩니다. 하나님께서 우리 안에 거하신다는 사실을 어떻게 알 수 있습니까? 우리는 그것을 하나님께서 우리에게 주신 성령으로 알 수 있습니다.
(24) The one who habitually keeps His commandments [obeying His word and following His precepts, abides and] remains in Him, and He in him. By this we know and have the proof that He [really] abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us [as a gift].
